James Hare MS, LPC, QMHP, MAC, CADC-III is a dedicated mental health professional with over a decade of experience in the field of mental health and recovery. With a Master’s Degree in Relational Mental Health Therapy from the University of Oregon, he is a licensed professional counselor recognized by the Oregon Board. James has trained in various therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, DBT, and CBT and he also provides clinical supervision to providers in Lane County. After a long career in community mental health working with various underserved populations he founded Therapeutic Solutions NW in 2024, continuing his commitment to helping individuals achieve mental wellness.

I am experienced in treating a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, childhood developmental Trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, low self esteem/self worth, social anxiety, substance or behavioral addiction, and many others.

As a licensed Psychotherapist, I have had a fulfilling career providing individual therapy, clinical supervision and state approved training curriculums to clients and therapists throughout Oregon. I have extensive experience working with various mental health challenges from mild depression and anxiety to high acuity Complex Trauma and severe and persistent mental illnesses like OCD and Schizophrenia. Many clients I work with, describe my expertise in mental health, my personal investment in their growth, ability to connect and listen authentically, my enthusiasm in their progress, and the ability to provide a non-judgmental and safe therapy environment as some of the reasons they appreciate my approach.
